FOBANA constitution has provision to promote businessmen and NRB investors. One of the goals and objectives of FOBANA is to "Promote and assist NRB Investment and business opportunities in USA, Canada and Bangladesh". For the past couple of conventions FOBANA organizes Business Expo and business centric seminars. In 2009-2010 term, FOBANA Executive Committee formed a Business Sub-Committee and taken serious initiaves to promote business.

However, being a non-profit organization, FOBANA will not engage in any business directly. It will provide the platform to support NRB businessmen via its member organization and limit its activitties within promoting them.
