This organization of Bangladeshi Associations in North America has been recognized as an umbrella, where all the
Bangladeshis living in North America can gather to celebrate their successes and deliver cultural talents through stage performances. In other words, FOBANA® is a symbol of our hope and aspiration and a unifying force for bringing our communities together and for moving them in the forward direction. Please join us if you haven’t already done so and encourage other organizations to join FOBANA too!
In 2015, FOBANA had a simple but profound idea to start a Scholarship program involving FOBANA volunteers, students, parents, businesses, educational institutions, and communities to help students fulfill their college dreams. Since the inception of the FOBANA Scholarship program, we disbursed close to $100 thousand to a few hundred students across the US and overseas. We believe that no student should ever give up on their dream because of financial barriers placed in their path and this is why FOBNANA started the Scholarship program since then we have done so much good, and there is always room to do so much more with your help.
The FOBANA Youth Forum will bring an international understanding for North American Bangladeshi youth and allow them to connect with a network that spans across the world. FOBANA wants to bring first-generation Bangladeshi Americans to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of service for others. Together we want to provide service to others, promote integrity, advance world understanding, and develop community leaders. We believe in our youth, the FOBANA Youth Forum can help bridge the gap between older and younger Bangladeshi generations for a greater community.
We will feature your artistic profile on both our FOBANA Website and across all our social media platforms. This visibility will open doors for event organizers and program managers throughout North America to connect with you for potential performances within their programs. Once you've agreed to perform, you will assume full responsibility for coordinating all necessary arrangements and crafting a professional contract with the organizers. Please be aware that any financial or ethical obligations stemming from these contracts will rest solely upon you, and FOBANA will not be held liable for such matters.
